Gilded Oyster Salt + Pepper Cellars

These gorgeous, delicate salt and pepper cellars would complement any seaside themed kitchen decor.

These oyster shells are sustainably sourced from hardworking Maine oyster farmers to support Maine aquaculture.  Each fresh oyster is hand selected for consistency in shell size, shape, weight, thickness, color and feel. They are then hand shucked, and the delicious meat is preserved. After, the shells endure a rigorous sanitizing process over several days and are then fresh air dried.

The back sides of the shells are generously brushed with a non-toxic acrylic clear coat gloss to highlight and showcase the natural beauty of each unique shell while leaving a subtle, shiny finish.

Each shell is then hand gilded with a classic gold leaf and finished with a final coat of clear gloss.

Could also be used as a ring dish, trinket dish, or accent piece.

Each is a unique oyster shell, and so shapes and sizes will vary between 3.75-4.25" long and 2.5-3.25" wide.

Each dish comes with a mini wooden rosewood spoon.
